Testimonials for Regional Marine & Offshore Summit; Focus Thailand, 28 March 2012 @ Le Meridien Bangkok
“Thailand has long been a major supply base for the marine & offshore activities in this sub-region. Despite the fact that this industry is approaching a stage of maturity, it has tremendously contributed to Thailand’s economy and offered a wide range of job opportunities to both local people and foreign workers. This event provided a good chance for Thai stakeholders as well as interested foreign investors to understand current situation, catch up with latest updates, share views and experiences and discuss a promising future by matching Thailand’s inner strengths with identified opportunities”

“The Malaysia OSV (Offshore Support Vessels) Owners Association or acronym OSV Malaysia would like to express its gratitude for extending the opportunity to its President in delivering its maiden keynote address on Overview of OSV Sector in Malaysia during the Regional Marine & Offshore Summit – Focus Malaysia on 27 October 2011 at Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur recently after it was established in June 2011.
Judging from the positive feedback and discussion after the session and in between tea breaks, the participants expressed their satisfaction on thought provoking style presentation when touching on the main challenges that Impact OSV Owners on their own turf. It was indeed gratifying to note that the participants shared their views on those issues and challenges which still relevant today due to the unfavourable fiscal and monetary legislation besieging the industry players.
A note of thanks and congratulations to Maritime Resource Centre for their excellent plan and support in organizing the summit”.

Testimonials for World Ship Registry Conference 2011 organized by Maritime Resource Centre
“It was a pleasure and honor to be the keynote speaker at the World Ship Registry Conference 2011. The reason being that it was a great platform for those involved in the maritime industry to get together and share ideas and best practices. It was a showcase of what everyone has to offer coupled with an open and friendly atmosphere. As we move forward the competition between registries will increase, but events like this ensure that best practices will be used and the end user will benefit. Congrats to Maritime Resource Centre for putting this together and the Embassy of Panama in Singapore looks forward to participating in the next conference”.
Jose A. Ruiz
Ambassador of Panama to Singapore
“I would like to express my deepest appreciation to the organisers of the World Shipping Register Conference 2011, which was held in Singapore on the 29th of June.
The conference was well attended and diverse, with an impressive group of speakers and lively discussions following the various presentations.
Out with the issues relating to Ship Registration, and the current challenges facing the Shipping Industry, I found the technical presentations on latest and pending IMO and SOLAS maritime legislation of particular interest.
It was very pleasing also to note that despite the ongoing and increasing raft of operating costs yet facing the ship owner and operator, necessitating a strict operating budget, the Singapore Shipping community still places top priority on the safety and welfare of the seafarers of all nationalities manning It’s vessels.
Again, thank you MRC for a most enjoyable conference”.
Clive Grainger
Deputy Commissioner of Maritime Affairs,
Republic of Vanuatu
“Not only did the diversity of maritime-related topics make the World Ship Registry Conference 2011 a rewarding experience, but the depth and breadth of knowledge held by the presenters ensured that every angle of the topics covered was explained to an eager and engaged audience. The fresh perspectives on these continuing challenges to the shipping industry were welcome and inspiring”.
